Each year Highland sends its top 6 winners from the previous year's Junior Club Championship to compete against players from Sunningdale and the Hunt Club for the Nash Cup. The three clubs rotate hosting the event and dinner. |
In mid-July of each year, Highland hosts one of the premiere one-day events on the Junior Tyson Tour (www.juniortysontour.com). Approximately 150 golfers compete in age brackets for prizes which are presented during dinner. |
Later in July, Highland Juniors are encouraged to bring a guest for a day of golf followed by dinner and prizes. |
This is an opportunity for our juniors to test and showcase their golfing ability. Driving, iron play, chipping and putting skills will be measured to show their ability in all aspects of the game. The competition is then followed by a 9-hole scramble and a meal. |
The Junior members are partnered with a Senior Highland member to play as a team in an alternate shot format. Prizes are awarded for the best team, as well as some closest to the pin and driving prizes. Followed by a meal. |
This two-day medal play championship is held in late August to recognize competitors who play well within their own age bracket. The event concludes on the second day with a dinner and award presentation. |
